Itinerary:
In the Tsitsikamma National Park, indigenous forests surround our campsite in the Storms River village. Optional Activities in the area include hiking a portion of the Otter Trail or along the coastline, abseiling, scuba diving, snorkelling, boat rides, canoeing, whale watching, or even the worlds highest bungee jump.
Today we take a scenic drive along the famous Garden Route to the seaside town of Mossel Bay. Bartholomeu Dias, the Portuguese Navigator, was the first European to explore Mossel Bay while searching for a spice route to the East. The Dutch navigator Paulus van Caerden renamed it Mossel Bay, as he found that mussels were a most welcome addition to the diet of his crew. Today, mussels gathered in Mossel Bay each spring are rated by gourmets among the finest in the world. Explore the town and find the next big screen to watch football.
Hermanus is well-known for its Southern Right Whales. Enjoy shore-based whalewatching during Jun-Oct, just linger in this picturesque coastal town, go on an optional boat cruise, or a hike.
Upon arrival in the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, we head towards the next fan park or big screen to watch football games for the next two days. Enjoy this number 1 sporting event and the warm hospitality of the local football fans while partying in vibrant Cape Town. Try your luck at getting tickets for one of the final matches!
